  • Physics Graduate Program Website: the Physics graduate program’s official website. Contains the Graduate Handbook. Useful for current students! The Graduate Handbook also contains information on how to apply to graduate with your Master’s as a Ph.D. student!
  • Georgia Tech Workday: Where current students can submit expense reports and travel reimbursements.
  • Office of the Ombuds: Recently created, this is a third party resource anyone in the Georgia Tech community can reach out to to get advising on how to deal with conflicts in the workplace or find a resolution. This is a confidential resource, and they are also capable of conducting mediations.
Career Services
  • Career Development Resources: A website with advising for Ph.D. student professional development from the Graduate Education website.
  • Georgia Tech Career Center: Career center at Georgia Tech’s main website. They host networking events, career fairs and more that you can sign up for on Career Buzz.
  • Academic Jobs Online: A job site and application system for jobs in academia and industry for those with advanced degrees.
  • Math Jobs: A job site and application system for jobs for those with advanced degrees in or related to math.

Mental and Physical Health
  • STAMPS Health Services: For illness, allergies, flu shots, x-rays, blood work, pharmacy, dentistry, eye care, nutrition guidance, women’s health.
  • Physics Allies for Wellness (PAW): PAW mentors are physics graduate students trained to listen and/or help you with any issues you have regarding discrimination, classroom policies, mental health, or interpersonal relationships. We recommend you read each mentor’s bio before deciding who to approach, so that you feel most comfortable.
  • Georgia Tech Counseling Center: for peer and individual counseling and therapy, support groups, outreach workshops, and crisis counseling.
  • STAMPS Psychiatry: for psychiatric evaluations and medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and other mental health concerns.
  • Mercer Family Therapy Center: for individual therapy when there is a waitlist at GTCC. Low-cost therapy options.
  • Office of Disability Services: for discussing and coordinating reasonable accommodations for students with disabilities, including test anxiety, ADHD, and injuries and disabilities that impede normal work activities.
Recreation
  • Campus Recreation Center (CRC): The CRC has recreation and lap pools, indoor running track, basketball courts, dance studios, rock climbing wall, racquetball and squash courts, group fitness classes, and trips.
  • Tech Rec: A billiards, bowling, and table tennis center in the Student Center available for reservations.
  • Ferst Center: Free and low-cost concerts for students.
  • DramaTech: Student-run theater.
  • Student Center Programs Council: Campus event coordination, with reduced-cost access to popular attractions like Six Flags, the GA Aquarium, and the Fox Theater.
