Alumnus Adrien Saremi, a former GAP board member, organized a recruiting event with us for his company, Cognira. It is an AI startup company in Atlanta and many physics students were scouted for open positions at the company. Recruiting events are more rare in the SoP, but hopefully going forward we can collaborate with companies in the Atlanta area and host events for soon-to-be Physics PhD grad students to get an idea of industry positions available to them.
