We had a wonderful turnout and some really fantastic demonstrations, congratulations to our 4 raffle winners!  A huge thank you to the staff at SweetWater Brewing and the volunteers from the Atlanta Science Festival who helped our night run so smoothly.

Have you ever wondered how so much delicious flavor finds its way into a bottle of beer?

Join the Georgia Tech School of Physics and SweetWater Brewing Company for an evening with scientists and brewmasters as we investigate the science of fermentation. Explore interactive home brewing demonstrations and take a guided tour of the brewery. Attendees will enjoy 36 oz of their favorite SweetWater samplings in a keepsake Atlanta Science Festival beaker/pint glass. In addition to SweetWater staples, Woodlands Project Manager Troy Montrone has created unique cask beers for the Science of Beer event.

There will be a food truck outside the venue and an interactive raffle giveaway!

This event is a part of the Atlanta Science Festival– an annual public celebration of local science and technology. Curious people of all ages will explore the science and technology in our region and see how science is connected to all parts of our lives through hundreds of different events across the city.
